The gentler way back to stronger skin.
Many products are "inspired by nature" but are mostly water. We start somewhere else. Every Encorium formula is built around one question: what does a weakened skin barrier need, and how much of it is enough?
Extract in place of water
In most skincare, water is the solvent: the base that carries everything else. It's usually the largest ingredient, and it does very little for your skin.
In most Encorium formulas, an extract takes that place. Our Shikon + Microbiome Hydrating Toner is 90% shikon root extract. Our Snow Mushroom + Peptide Smoothing Serum is 70% snow mushroom extract. Our CICA + Bitter Melon Recovery Cream is 70% centella extract. The base itself is working for your skin.
Some formulas still include a little water where the texture needs it, and it's always on the ingredient list. We never call our products water-free.
Actives that make sense
Higher percentages aren't always better, especially for skin that already stings. We choose natural and synthetic actives for what they do, not where they come from. Each one is used at a concentration high enough for visible results and gentle enough for a weakened barrier.

We formulate with reactive skin in mind. Every ingredient, from the hydrators to the emulsifiers, is chosen to support the skin barrier, not just to carry the actives.
